Doughboats is fun every time of the day but there’s something extra special about enjoying dinner or a cheese platter at sunset and then hanging out at dark with the Doughboat all lit up.

3. TAXICAT ADVENTURES
This is a new business arriving on the lake this Summer and we are STOKED to say the least.
We’ll be in good company, sandwiched between Big Sky and Taxicat in the Taupo Marina.
They are a taxi boat that will take you to the wonders that are the Western Bays of Lake Taupo. The Western Bays are not to be missed out on. It doesn’t feel like you’re in Taupo anymore as the cliffs are magnificent and every bay offers something totally different. There’s waterfalls to explore, a river that leads to a lagoon, plenty of untouched fly fishing spots and so much more!
